The Board is pleased to announce that we have selected Sacramento Protective Services (SPS) as our new Security service provider, effective January 1, 2023. Our homeowners will call (916) 575 9900 to report issues or request services with SPS.
SPS is a progressive private security company dedicated to providing the highest level of safety and security. SPS is determined to bridge the gap between law enforcement and private security to solve community problems. SPS was established in June 2006, and their security services are specific to the Sacramento Region for residential communities. SPS employs only the highest level of security officers in the industry, security officers who have “real-world” experience knowledge and training. to “observe and act” rather than merely “observe and report.” All officers have:
• On average, two years of military experience, law enforcement or private security field;
• Certificates of Completion of the BSIS 40-hour Powers of Arrest, including:
- Guard Registration License
- Exposed Firearms License
- Baton License
• POST Reserve Level III (PC 832) certification (or higher level of POST training)
• Certificate in adult and pediatric First Aid/CPR

A big thank you to the members of the Safety Committee for their numerous contributions over the last many months! They wrote the RFP, developed the evaluation criteria, and analyzed the proposals. They detailed their recommendations, making it quick and easy for the Board to move forward. If you see one of the committee members, please thank them for their hard work.
