We hope that everyone is enjoying the pleasant spring weather we’ve been blessed with! The Board held a special meeting on March 23rd to discuss some of the factors surrounding reopening with the management team and also heard a lot of feedback from the Community. In response to some of this feedback, rather than waiting until major amenities are able to be used, we will be focusing on opening what we can when we can in phases. Reservation information will be sent out closer to when we are able to open.
The first phase that we anticipate is starting outdoor fitness classes and allowing households to use some of the tables outside. These will be available by reservation, and we are targeting April 20th. As some of the major projects are completed that affect the use of our other amenities and we are able to bring on enough staffing to be in compliance with the cleaning and monitoring requirements, we will be able to reopen those in phases as well.
Warranty repair work on the pool decks is starting at the beginning of April (weather permitting) and anticipated to last 4-8 weeks. They will be starting on the Lap Pool then moving to the recreational pools, so we will be able to offer reservations for the Lap Pool first and then the other pools.
We hope to be able to offer café services starting mid-May.
If it is at all possible to accelerate this timeline we definitely will! We appreciate the community’s patience and support as we balanced the risks and restrictions of COVID, usage numbers, and the ability to complete these major projects during the closure.
