It’s election time and the Natomas Park Master Association is looking for homeowners with the desire and passion to serve their community! The Association is pleased to announce that the Board and Delegate candidacy period is open through Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 5:00PM.
This year, there is ONE Board seat and FIVE District Delegate seats open for election.
As a Board member, you can expect to spend 20-25 hours per month preparing for and attending regular meetings.
- Executive Session – contracts, personnel, assessment collection, and legal.
- Open Session – homeowner forum, committee reports, management reports, financial reports, projects, initiatives, policy governance, and more.
- Member Compliance Meetings – Member compliance for CC&R and rule infractions.
- Committees – Act as Board liaison to at least one committee (club, communications, finance, safety, social).
What is a District Delegate?
The Association is divided into five geographic districts for purposes of voting. The homeowners within each district elect their own Delegate each year. Delegates vote on behalf of all homeowners within his or her district for all elections according to the “voting instructions from the owners” (accomplished by a vote of members). It is critical that all homeowner participate in every election.
