Dear Natomas Park Homeowners,
On Monday, December 12, 2022, your Board of Directors voted (4-1) in favor of a second dues holiday from January 1, 2023, to April 30, 2023. This equates to $324 per household and addresses the remaining surplus operating funds.
With the two actions described below, the Board of Directors redistributed nearly $2,400,000 in surplus operating funds to the homeowners.
- Dues holiday from September 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022, @ $71 per month $284 per household / $1,118,960 total
- Dues holiday from January 1, 2023, through April 30, 2023, @ $81 per month $324 per household / $1,276,560 total
Homeowners with ACH payments through the Association do not need to pause monthly payments, however, homeowners paying by check or through their financial institution must take action to pause payments. Homeowners in the Ryland Gardens must still pay the additional monthly assessment of $10. Homeowners with delinquent accounts are strongly encouraged to continue making payments during the dues holiday to catch up. For those receiving a payment coupon book with this letter, please disregard the coupons for January through April 2023, unless you are delinquent on your account and need to make extra payments.
The monthly assessment amount for 2023 is $81 per month (May through December) and an additional $10 per month for Ryland Gardens (January through December). Homeowners, except for those on ACH, must take action to change the monthly payment amount. For access to the online payment portal or questions about the dues holiday, contact the management office.
The Board is pleased to announce that we have selected Sacramento Protective Services (SPS) as our new security service provider. Effective January 1, 2023, homeowners will call SPS at 916-575-9900 to report issues and request services.
Lastly, if you have not voted in the Governing Document Revisions Election, please return your ballot by January 24, 2023, at 5:00 PM.
